What Are Lights?
Have you ever think about getting up without lights? No sun, no other unnatural lights to wake you up and guide your direction? It will become a disease for human beings since we are animals that feel the world through eyes more than just ears or nose. We don’t have radar to prevent from bumping into others, we don’t have the special eyes to see at dark, we don’t just tell the surroundings through the nose.
But thank goodness we do have lights, natural lights, and unnatural lights. Natural lights are given by our nature, which is the sun who gives us warmth and lights. Unnatural lights are invented by human beings for better seeing at night or when the weather gets unclear.

Natural Lights
Natural lights are mainly from the sun, emitting at a distance of 149,597,870,700 meters from the galaxy. The lights from the sun not only bring us brightness but also affect various natural phenomena on the earth. The lights at different times of a day have different temperatures and different effects on animals, e.g. when to wake up or when to prey on food. Broadly speaking, the lights from the sun generates four seasons on the earth, hence we have different views of plants and the environment.
Unnatural Lights
Unnatural lights can be traced back to ancient times. Firstly, it was just a torch to light up shortly and to scare wild animals away. Our ancestors realized that short bright had many defects to keep safe. Afterward, come the candle that lasts much longer than a torch and can be easily relighted quickly. But the problems of not-lasting still existed that another lighting tool came into being in the 19th century, a kerosene lamp that can be operated in a more convenient way comparing to torches or candles. Previously lights are not yet connected with electricity, but in 1808 the first electric light was invented by English Chemist David. After which, tremendous inventors and chemists worked hard to find a proper and usable electric light until in 1879 Edison finally found the electric light that was used in daily life. As of now, human beings can control lights easily and freely.
After more than 100 years of use, people gradually realize that current light technology and consumption cause a large amount of power using and air pollution at the same time. People try to find a new light tech to replace traditional electric light when the LED lights come into being in 1962 by engineer Nick Holonyak Jr. However, the real kick-off was by Japanese engineer Shuji Nakamura who worked in Nichia Chemical Industries Ltd. In 1994-1995, having a breakthrough in GaN and obtained blue LED light, ever since started the universal use of LED lights.
LED Lights Become Common in Every Corner
As of today, LED lights are the usual light equipment in each family. What are the benefits of LED lights that we have spent so many years perfecting the using of lights?

- Energy conservation
The energy consumption of LED lights is just 1/10 of traditional electric light, and 1/4 of energy-saving light.
- Long Life
The using time of LED lights lasts more than 100,000 hours that is a once-and-for-all light for families.
- Eco-friendly
LED lights contain no toxic matters like mercury with simple assembling and disassembling that can be recycled easily.
- Reducing Visual Fatigue
The technology of LED lights features area light that the lighting is broader to eliminate dazzles and reduce visual fatigue.
- Impact Resistance
LED lights do not have a class appearance that it will not have problems of fracture or broken, no harms and radiation to bodies.
- Universal Lamp Holders
Lamp holders of LED lights are produced in a universal manner that various lights can be exchanged to use.
Lighting
- External Lighting of Buildings
Easy and vertical installation, LED lights combine with the appearance of building perfectly that light designers have more space to design and affect the showing of architecture.
- Internal Lighting of Exhibition
For articles displayed in a room, LED lights have no heat, UV, or IR to damage displays, besides it also requires no filtering combination to work that the whole system of lighting is simple and costs few, quite applicable for museums.
- Lighting of Landscape Design
In contrast to traditional lamps, LED lights connect well with the surroundings of architecture that LED lights can be applied to roads, stairs, decks, waterfront belts, and gardening, whether it is short or high bushes. The fixed end comes with a plug design that is very convenient to adjust as per bushes heights.
- Lighting of Logos or Instructions
In places that require limitations or instructions, LED lights play an important role to work. The partition of roads, the lighting of stairs, the instructions of emergency exit all can be done with LED lights. It is a good choice to use in theaters or shopping malls. Moreover, it is cheaper to use LED lights than NEO lights.
- Lighting of Clubs, Bars, and Stages
Since LED lights have dynamic and digital control for colors and intensities, the effects show both static and dynamic light results, which is the first-pick lighting for bars, clubs, and stages.
- TV, Promotion&Computer Screen
With the development of high tech, full-color LED screen has become usual light equipment in everywhere, both indoor and outdoor. For indoor parts, TV or computer have been replaced with LED screens for a clearer lighting effect. And for outdoor, the promotion screens on skyscrapers are with every city.
- Lighting of Car Instructions
LED lights are suitable for roads, avenues and highways for car instructions and car tracing and management.
Decorations
In the end, we have to mention what else can LED lights bring to us? Decorations. More than just lights, LED lights also work well as a decor to rooms, roads, buildings, bushes, vehicles, etc.
